Isidro Calvo received the B.Sc. degree in applied physics, the M.Sc. degree in electronics and automatic control, and the Ph.D. degree in control engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain, in 1993, 1995, and 2004, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Systems Engineering and Automatic Control, UPV/EHU. He has authored some 70 papers published in international conferences and journals. His research interests focus on industrial informatics, cyber-physical systems, computer communications, and new control applications.
