Graduated in 2002, PhD in Psychology in 2010 and Associate Professor at the UPV/EHU. The title of her thesis was Emotions, attitude towards forgiveness and tolerance in a context of intergroup conflict and violence: The Basque case. This starting point was the beginning of his first line of research, which deals with moral emotions in the political sphere and other aspects such as forgiveness or tolerance. The second line of research deals with self-conscious emotions, their antecedents and effects and, specifically, about guilt and moral pride. Likewise, a transversal issue that has been of interest throughout her research has been gender differences.
Her research work has led to 16 articles in scientific journals. She is also the author of 16 book chapters and coordinator of a two-volume book. She has participated in several research projects and has presented more than 50 works in scientific congresses. She is currently part of the Consolidated Research Group in Social Psychology, Culture, Cognition and Emotion.
Regarding her teaching experience, she teaches regularly since 2006 (first at the Public University of Navarra and since 2013 at the University of the Basque Country). She has taught a total of 6 subjects, among those we could highlight: Emotion and Socio-Emotional Competencies, Psychological Bases: Individual and Social Environment and Promotion of Psychological Development.
