PhD in Psychology (University of Deusto). Expert in Neuropsychology and Master in General Health Psychology. Her line of research has focused on the identification of neuropsychological and neuroimaging markers which can contribute to improve the diagnostic process of mental illnesses such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. She has participated in different national and international projects that have allowed her to carry out an internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore, USA). Her research activity is currently focused on the identification of a multidimensional model of suicidal behavior in patients diagnosed with mental illness.

Her teaching activity has been focused on subjects on the methodology applied to research in psychology as well as on subjects related to basic psychological processes and the biological bases of behavior.
