The Room is dedicated to Felipe Cid (1930- ), a professor of the history of Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and founder of the Museu d'Historia de la Medicina de Catalunya in 1979. Professor Cid actively collaborated with the European Association of Museums of History of Medical Sciences, the creation of the Museum of Medicine of Bogotá and the restructuring and maintenance of our Museum. Likewise, this room holds the funds of the historical library of the Basurto Hospital, and is regarded as the Research Room.
