11. Radiology Room
With half of the tour completed, we reach the heart of the Museum. Here we find Roentgen tubes from the beginning of the 20th century, radiology and radiation devices used by Dr. Astorqui in the 1940's, portable X-ray devices, dental radiology tools, aprons, gloves, glasses, and other accessories related to this technique. The last acquisitions were ultrasound scanners from the 1980's.
On one side of the room is the extensive collection of armchairs and exploration stretchers, as well as other devices used to move patients. The most outstanding piece is Dr. Epalza's wooden table used for cataract surgery which occupies the center of the room.
